What makes this piece particularly meaningful within Renan’s body of work is the journey behind it. What began as a small tattoo eventually grew into both legs and a full back piece, becoming a decade-long collaboration built on trust, friendship, and artistic exploration. To this day, it remains one of his favorite leg panels, embodying the idea that the most meaningful projects are often the ones that continue unfolding long after the first tattoo is complete.
