Firefighter's Guardian Angel

This piece is Grease's depiction of a Firefighter's Guardian Angel. The pose and the tattered clothing give the illusion of a battle-hardened figure, bathed in light by flames from above. The textures and shadows in this tattoo are wildly complex, and Grease executes them perfectly. This piece is as symbolic as it is technically masterful. In this photo, the angel and wings are healed; the background and the crosses are fresh.
