Oceanic Lady

This breathtaking tattoo was done at the Mondial tattoo convention in Paris, France over 3 consecutive days. Artist participation in this convention is by invitation only, and it is widely regarded as one of the 3 most prestigious tattoo conventions in the entire world. The tattoo showcases one of Delia's neorealism portraits, enveloped in flowing waves with intricate shell designs, evoking a sense of movement and fluidity. Delia's incorporation of subtle purples in the face compliments the blue tones of the water and adds an ethereal nature to the piece. She brilliantly uses the imagery of a shell and the golden rule to create a piece that perfectly fits and flows with the thigh, causing the viewer's eye to start with the portrait and meander down the right side of the piece, where it finally rests on the waves and rocks below.
