This Taurus-inspired front piece was created as a tribute to the client’s grandmother, whose zodiac sign became the foundation for the project. Rather than focusing on a literal representation of the bull, the design explores the relationship between structure and playfulness through a carefully balanced arrangement of forms. The sweeping horns establish a strong sense of symmetry across the chest, while the bull itself and the surrounding elements intentionally deviate from perfect balance, creating movement and visual tension throughout the piece. The playful colors woven into the horns contrast with the more muted tones of the bull, echoing the relationship between a young grandson and the woman who helped shape him. Soft, airy background elements connect the composition to the flow of the body without overwhelming it, allowing the tattoo to breathe while alluding to the client’s energetic personality.
