An Interactive Workshop

In 4 years, Eden co-owner and founder Colton James has turned Eden from simply an idea, to a nationally renowned studio with 12 artists and 7 staff members. He’s started and grown social media pages to hundreds of thousands of followers, started a podcast, and founded Eden EDU, which hosts monthly seminar events and hundreds of tattoo artists a year from all over the world. He’s done everything there is to do in running a tattoo business: managed the front desk and handled inquiries and scheduling, filmed, edited, and planned content for social media, dealt with companies for sponsorships, handled administrative tasks like payroll, insurance, and taxes, and more.

Colton is taking everything he’s had to figure out virtually on his own, and sharing it with tattoo artists and studio owners in an effort to help them improve their own studios and the tattoo industry as a whole.

  • Offering benefits that make your studio desirable to current and potential team members

  • Taxes, bookkeeping, insurance, finance, and employment laws

  • Social media and marketing

  • Hiring and developing personnel

  • Delegating and automating studio tasks

  • Identifying and planning for changes within the tattoo industry

    Additional Staff

  • Deanna James - Colton’s wife and co-owner of Eden

  • Nicole Day - Eden studio manager and event coordinator

Who This Workshop is Appropriate For

This workshop is not appropriate for every studio owner. In sharing this information, Colton is looking for like-minded business owners who are passionate about pushing themselves, their team members, and the tattoo industry as a whole. During the course of the workshop, there will be discussion over a variety of complex topics and a focus on your goals and vision as an owner. Colton intends to discuss difficult issues and challenge preconceived notions typically held by those in the industry.

If you share the common goal of improving the tattoo industry and are ready to work harder than you ever have for those around you and to achieve your mission in owning a studio, this workshop is for you.

    Cost Per Ticket

The cost of the workshop is $500. Add-ons for each participant (example: co-owners, studio managers, spouses) can be purchased for an additional $100 per add-on.

To preserve the intimacy of the workshop format, this seminar is limited to 10 studios.

By enrolling in the seminar, you agree to these terms.
