Ivano Natale
Ivano Natale is from Naples, Italy and works in black and gray realism, specializing in large scale pieces with incredibly smooth shading. Ivano's work is easily recognizable by the flowing smoke and filigree that he incorporates into his work.
While originally from Naples, Ivano grew up all around the world and has called the western U.S. his second home for as long as he can remember. Ivano has been drawing for as long as he could hold a pencil and was obsessed with drawing on anything he could get his hands on-- including desks and walls. After being encouraged by his father, Ivano decided to pursue tattooing in 2005. Ivano is a self taught artist and an incredibly seasoned tattooer, with two decades of experience.
Ivano opened his first studio in Naples, Thy Gallery Studios, after being in the industry for less than a decade. This studio is not only home to some of the best black and grey artists in Europe, but also serves as an art gallery and an educational space. Ivano teaches and hosts educational seminars in Naples through the Ivano Natale Tattoo Academy. Just last year, Ivano expanded his studio ownership to the U.S., opening another Thy Gallery location in Las Vegas alongside Adrian Dominquez.
